§ 01 about

Where most people stop at “someone should make this”, I've usually already started.

I'm very driven and deep into the startup and tech world. Nobody around me shared the interest, so most of it has been a solo journey: AI products, apps, websites, games and hardware, almost all of it taken from first idea to something that works. That taught me to just get started, test ideas and build things myself.

On the hardware side I've been tinkering a lot with 3D-printing and designing my own PCBs, from schematic to a finished board. It's become one of my favourite parts of building things.

I move fast, but I don't cut corners. I like getting things out early, testing them and improving as I go, while still understanding what I'm building and building it properly. Speed and quality aren't opposites. The goal is both.

I learn fast and shift into a higher gear once I can see the vision. Right now I'm a third-year student at a Swedish technical upper secondary school, specialising in information and media technology.

§ 02 what i've built

plus plenty of websites, games and smaller projects.

§ 03 the bigger picture

I'm as interested in the business as I am in the technology.

Building the product is only half of it. I want the bigger perspective too: why people would want it, how it makes money, how it can grow, and what it takes to build an organisation around it.

The goal is to be the technical founder of my own ventures: the person who can build the product and understand the business around it. Thinking long term, from Sweden, with both feet on the ground.

§ 04 markets

I'm fascinated by what makes a company worth something.

I follow the stock market closely because I like understanding businesses: margins, moats, how a company actually makes its money, and how much the market is willing to pay for it. Valuation is where business and maths meet. A P/E ratio tells you one story, a discounted cash flow model another, and the interesting part is working out why they disagree.

I follow global finance too, and the bigger picture: interest rates, central banks, currencies, and how a decision in Washington or Frankfurt shows up in the price of a Swedish stock a few hours later. It's one big system, and I like trying to understand how the pieces connect.

That interest is also where Lagom News came from. Keeping up with the markets meant jumping between sources every morning, reading the same story several times over, and still feeling like I'd missed something. I wanted one edition, written for me, covering exactly what I follow, with sources, and with scenarios for where things might go next. So I started building it.

The stock valuation app came out of the same curiosity. Building the models myself is the best way I know to really understand them.

what i've done

I don't wait for permission. I built an AI newspaper from scratch and turned it into a UF company. I've built apps with real AI under the hood, designed my own circuit boards, and started a business selling phone accessories with friends, where I built the website and the ordering system. I've put in plenty of twelve-hour days to get it all over the line, because that's what it takes. At school I've led a product development team and taught my classmates maths, physics and chemistry. Next, I want to take that kind of collaboration into what I care about most: building companies.

what i haven't done

I've never been to a hackathon, and most of what I've built, I've built alone. None of my products has a big user base. Yet.

what i can do

Take an idea and turn it into a working product, fast, anywhere in the stack: AI, backend, apps or hardware. Pick up whatever the problem needs, quickly and properly. Think like a founder, not just an engineer: who it's for, why they'd pay, how it grows. Work twelve hours straight when it counts. Once I see the vision, there are no limits.

Give me a problem worth solving, and I'll give it everything I've got.

§ 06 next

Accepted as a cyber soldier for Swedish military service.

§ 07 off the screen

Opera. Off-piste. Hunting, fishing and boats.

Classical music, good design and real craftsmanship, and anything I can do with my hands. I'd rather have something simple and well made than something flashy, and that goes for the things I own as much as the things I build.
